✦ Starwake
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Starwake Android game, application ID com.pseudoplaygrounds.starwake (the "Game"), published by Pseudo Playgrounds ("we", "us"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information, including Google user data. Starwake is a single-player puzzle game. This is the same policy linked from the Starwake home page, from inside the Game, and from the Google consent screen. This page is public and does not require an account to read.
There are no ads in the Game, not one, not ever. Playing does not require a Google account. We do not operate our own game servers or user accounts. The Game uses two Google services, both optional from your point of view: Google Play Billing, only when you buy or restore a purchase, and Google Play Games Saved Games, only if you choose to save woken boards to your Google account.
This section describes what information Starwake (com.pseudoplaygrounds.starwake) collects, how we collect it, how we use it, how we share it, and how long we keep it. The Game collects only the Google user data listed below, and only when you use Google Play Billing or choose optional cloud save. We do not collect name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or Advertising ID ourselves.
This section is the complete picture of how Starwake collects, accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data. We do not use that data for anything else.
We do not access Gmail, contacts, photos, calendar, your visible Drive files, or any other Google data. Saved Games keeps the snapshot in a private app-data area of your Google account; Starwake cannot list, open, or change anything else stored there.
Starwake's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve these user-facing features of the Game. We do not use it for advertising, to sell to data brokers, to determine credit, or to train AI or machine-learning models.
We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer or disclose it to any third party other than Google, which provides Play Billing and Play Games under Google's Privacy Policy. We share it with no one else except where required by law.
We do not keep a copy of your Google account or your Saved Games snapshot on our own servers, because we do not operate any. Purchase state used to unlock content, and a local copy of your progress, live on your device. The cloud snapshot lives in your Google account via Play Games. Traffic to Google goes through Google's own Play libraries over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited information described here, including keeping the snapshot to board identifiers and never writing email, payment, or account secrets into the Game's files.
We retain local game data only on your device, for as long as the Game stays installed. We retain no Google user data of our own once you close the Game; Google retains purchase history and, if you opted in, the Saved Games snapshot under your Google account for as long as that account holds them.
Additional worlds, Endless, and cosmetic palettes are one-time purchases processed by Google Play Billing. A purchase is billed to whichever Google account is already signed into the Play Store app on your device — the same account Play uses to install any app. Starwake does not ask you to sign in separately for a purchase, and never receives or stores your Google account details, email address, or payment or card information. We receive only a confirmation that a product was bought, which we use to unlock it.
If you reinstall the Game or install it on a new device, Play Billing's restore feature looks up what that same Play Store account already owns and unlocks it again automatically, so you never pay twice. This lookup is handled entirely by Google Play. The Game stores locally only enough to unlock content on the current device. Google's Play Billing library may also contact Google for its own purchase processing; that is Google's processing, not data we collect. See Google's Privacy Policy.
If you choose Save to Google Play in Settings, the Game asks Google Play Games to sign you in so it can store a snapshot of which puzzle boards you have woken, across worlds, Endless, and the daily archive. Sign-in is optional. The Game is fully playable without it, and nothing is locked behind a Google account. Silent re-sign-in on launch runs only after you have already opted in.
The snapshot is a list of board identifiers, not a copy of the puzzles and not your settings, purchases, theme, volume, or haptics. If you play on more than one device, the Game unions the cloud set with the local set so a board woken on either device is kept. An empty or unreadable snapshot cannot wipe a local save.
Your woken boards, settings (including theme, volume, haptics, and whether cloud save is wanted), and purchase entitlements are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the Game removes this local data. Cloud save, if you turned it on, remains with your Google account until you delete it there.
The Starwake home page and this Privacy Policy are static pages on kaldreth.com. They do not set cookies, do not run analytics, and do not track you. Viewing them does not require a login. The Game does not use browser cookies. Progress, settings, and entitlements on the device are ordinary local files, not cookies.
Information is processed only by Google Play Billing and, if you opt in, Google Play Games Services, each under Google's own privacy policy. We do not share data with any other third parties except where required by law.
Starwake is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will address it.
You can play the Game without signing in and without buying anything. You can turn cloud save off in Settings at any time. To ask about, access, or request deletion of data we hold, contact us below. Because we do not operate servers, most data lives either on your device or in your Google account, and those are the places that actually hold it.
This Policy is current as of the "Last updated" date above. If we change how Starwake accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data, we will update this page first, including that date, so the change is visible here before it applies. We will not use Google user data for a new purpose without disclosing it in this Policy.
Questions about this Policy or your data can be sent to [email protected]. Pseudo Playgrounds publishes Starwake.
